Fire Panel

The fire panel acts as the central brain of any fire alarm system. It constantly monitors all connected devices, such as smoke detectors, heat detectors, and manual pull stations, receiving signals when any of these detect a potential fire. Upon receiving a signal, the panel quickly processes the information, determines the nature of the alert, and then activates the appropriate sounders (like bells or horns) and flashing lights (strobes) to alert everyone in the building. Additionally, many fire panels have a display that pinpoints the exact location of the alarm, providing crucial information to both building occupants and arriving firefighters. Some advanced panels can even automatically notify the fire department or a monitoring service.
